You don’t need much but there are a few things you will NEED to have plus a few things that would be awesome if you did have, but not required.
+ A good attitude.
Honestly, if you are only going to commit half way, you can stop reading now. I don’t want to help someone that isn’t going to put in the work. That might sound harsh, but its better you find this out about me now. Understand, I don’t care if you are the slowest at every workout and I don’t care if you miss a workout here and there, what gets under my skin is when you say you can’t or you just decide to stop trying. You CAN do this, and I believe in you. Show up everyday ready to do what I throw at you (even if you feel like you SUCK at it) and we will get along just great.
+ A kettlebell.
A 15 lbs kettlebell is a good weight to shoot for. If you want a wider range, 12-26 pounds would do the job. You can get these at your local sports store, Target, Walmart or this one from Amazon is what I have.
+ A set of hand weights.
10-15 lbs for these. Again, you can get these at your local sports store, Target, Walmart or even Amazon.
+ A jump rope.
Other Items (Encouraged, but not required)
+ A weighted bar. I like this one and I would recommend 15-20 lbs. You can also check places like your local sports store, Target, Walmart or even Amazon.
+ A Medicine ball. I recommend this one. I would go with an 8-10 lb ball. These aren’t cheap, but oh boy, the workout you can get with one of them is amazing.
+ Something to jump on. A bench, a box, 2 stairs, or something sturdy. If you can’t make do with something you have at home try something along these lines.

If you decide this is something you’re ready to commit to, you’ll be a part of the founding group of the Hot and Healthy Life Fitness Challenge.
The actual program will start on August 4th.
Registration is now open for founding members (if you’re looking at this page, you’re one of the few who are invited to be a part of it).
The friends and family price is only good until July 28th. After the 28th, the price will be increasing at least $20/month, potentially more. I’m still uncertain if I’ll price this as a much higher priced product immediately, or if we’ll slowly add features and then raise the prices.
You will be “grandfathered” in as a founding member for any future features/content that is added to our kick-ass program. I have some tricks up my sleeve, but haven’t had time to structure everything for the launch.
